ReConFig 2011 will provide a leading edge forum for researchers and engineers from across the world to present their latest research and to discuss future research and applications. The conference seeks to promote the use of reconfigurable computing and FPGA technology for research, education, and applications, covering from hardware architectures and devices to custom computers and high performance systems.

Venue

ReConFig 2011 will be held at the Cancun Caribe Park Royal Grand hotel. Cancun, a world class tourist resort, is located on the Mexican Caribbean. Main attractions include fabulous beaches, sea activities (world’s second largest barrier reef), ecotourism, and nearby ancient Mayan cities.

Conference proceedings

Conference proceddings will be edited by IEEE Computer Society´s Conference Publishing Services (CPS) and will appear at the IEEE Digital Library (IEEE Xplore). Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their paper to the ReConFig11 Special Issue of the International Journal of Reconfigurable Computing (IJRC).


Xilinx's Professor Workshop

Xilinx's Professors workshop on Embedded Linux on MicroBlaze to be held before the conference (Nov 28-29) also at the Cancun Caribe Park Royal Grand hotel. This workshop is free of charge. No registration to ReConFig is required to attend this workshop. Registration for the workshop must be done directly at Xilinx´s University Program page.
